On the final night of the BIGGEST WEEK IN AMERICAN BIRDING, Kim Kaufman drew and verified the winners of Wildside’s “Meet the Wildside Guides” contest. The winners did not need to be present to attend, which was good as everyone was exhausted from the great birding all week long!
The GRAND PRIZE was a Wildside PUERTO RICO ENDEMIC DASH 5-day tour, won by Donna P. from Portage, MI.
SECOND PRIZE was a pair of VORTEX TALON 8×42 HD binoculars, won by Joan B. from McLean, VA.
Other prizes won include 2 CROSSLEY FIELD GUIDES and 10 WILDSIDE $100 TRAVEL CERTIFICATES. All winners also received Wildside logo hats and lens cloths. All prizes have been mailed or shipped to the respective winners!
We had a lot of great comments on our contest which asked participants to look for Wildside guides along the boardwalk at Magee Marsh (and elsewhere) during the Biggest Week in American Birding, and get their initials on the entry form. It was an easy and fun way for participants to meet our team! We look forward to a similar opportunity next year… so you better be there if you want to win a trip to… ?
