
GALAPAGOS 2010: Floreana (Part 3)

On the other side of the island is a wonderful clear bay full of rays! Dozens of them! They zip about in the shallow water leaving a trail of sand in their wake.
As we watched the rays, a Galapagos Shark swam by in the shallow cove. No one wanted to go swimming… which was good since it is actually not allowed on this side anyway.
As usual, the Sally Lightfoot Crabs covered the rocky areas of the beach.
As we returned to the skiff back on the other side of Floreana, a very cooperative immature Yellow (Mangrove) Warbler offered escort.
