Congratulations to the NIKON/DVOC Lagerhead Shrikes – Paul Guris, Mike Fritz, Bert Filemyr and Zach Baer – on tying for 1st place in the World Series of Birding with 228 species. This is a 24 hour birding event that is held in New Jersey and it is the 10th time in the 27 year history of the event that the DVOC has won.
This event is used as a fundraiser for conservation and the DVOC is delighted to raise money for the Bird Safe Glass Project at John Heinz NWR Tinicum. To see more information and make a pledge to help us meet our goal, click on the following link
