Kevin and Lisa in Argentina after our Antarctic Adventure

From the far south to the far north! As the sign says, Alaska is a scant 17,848 km (about 11,090 miles) from Tierra del Fuego National Park, and we were even farther south a few days earlier, having crossed the South Polar Circle aboard the Plancius!

Our adventures so far have taken us to the Galapagos Islands, where I proposed, to Mexico to see the splendor of the Monarch Butterfly Migration and to the frozen reaches of Antarctica. Our biggest adventure of all awaits, as next week Lisa and I will become husband and wife aboard the motor yacht, Alaskan Legend, at the foot of LeConte Glacier near Petersburg, Alaska.

The next 10 days I will have little time to anticipate the event as I will be leading a tour aboard the Legend. The group includes my brother and sister-in-law how had joined me two years ago here as well. Two of the other guests where with me three years ago. And two guests were with us in the Galapagos when Lisa and I were engaged. So really, it is more like traveling with all family!

Lisa will arrive next week along with more family and friends, including our pastor to perform the ceremony on July 2 at about 1:00pm Alaska Time.

I am hoping to post some images during our trip, but considering the mobile signals that may not be possible, but rest assured I will share photos of the wedding upon our return home to Pennsylvania!
