A highlight of my recent trip to Honduras was encountering this lovely Northern Potoo at its daytime roost.
During a morning boat ride at the Cuero y Salado Wildlife Refuge, my sharp-eyed guide steered our boat to the river edge specifically for me to video this incrediably camouflagued bird at close range. At the 52 second mark you can see it slowly change position.
