White Mountains in New Hampshire

White Mountains in New Hampshire -photo by Greg Miller

Tonight we are in northern New Hampshire. Yes, it’s called a Maine trip. But we drove through the beautiful White Mountains today. We tallied 64 species of birds bringing our trip total to 113 and the year total to 381. Best highlight for me was seeing 2 Roseate Terns flying along the beach at Pine Point in Scarborough Marsh.

We birded at Pine Point this morning, Brownfield Bog, and finally Pondicherry NWR. The White Mountains in New Hampshire were just beautiful. And despite a lot of miles driving, we walked over 6 miles (according to Fitbit)

This episode is short and sweet due to this writer’s lack of sleep. More tomorrow. Maybe.
