Today we bumped our Montana trip list over 100. We are now at 101 species. And the year list whooshed by the 400-mark. We now stand at 412. Some of today’s birds include Mountain Bluebird, White-throated Swift, Violet-green Swallow, Red-naped Sapsucker, Canyon Wren, Red-necked & Western Grebes, Merlin, Peregrine Falcon, and surprise of the day–some Pinyon Jays here in Helena! Sweet!
