Our Big Year Birding Tours and Short Tours for Target Species were sidelined due to the pandemic for over a year, but as of this month we are back! Our unparalleled series of 26+ tours across the United States are specifically tailored to maximize birding potential at all the right places during all the right times! COVID-19 has really altered our collective ‘normal’ over the last year, but as more and more vaccines are distributed, and travel within the US becomes safer, we are happy to report that Wildside is back to touring starting this month with our TEXAS: Rio Grande Valley in Spring and Black-capped Vireo & Golden-cheeked Warbler tours! Of course, we have COVID-19 travel protocols in place for our leaders and participants and strongly recommend everyone get their vaccines before they travel!

If you haven’t already, please check out our 2021 and 2022 tour schedules and see if anything tickles your fancy! We’d love to get back out there birding with you! If you can’t join us quite yet or just want to follow along from home please keep tabs on our various social media outlets… of course, we have the Big Year Blog plus our FacebookTwitter and Instagram accounts which are all regularly updated with our latest sightings, stories, and photos from the field! Our Big Year specific posts are always tagged with #WildsideBigYear to make it easier to find and follow along! There’s nothing better to soothe the soul and ease back into the ‘new normal’ than by going outside and exploring the wonderful areas of North America that are home to incredible birds and wildlife! We are ready to explore with you!
