Stay-at-home orders are beginning to relax across the country and the Wildside family is eager to get back to doing what we love… sharing nature with others!

However, this not a race. We do not need be the first tour company to rush back to work. Instead, we will return to leading trips with immense caution and care for our travelers, leaders, and the communities we visit. This pandemic remains an evolving situation. As we proceed with our plans, we will take each new health recommendation into consideration, with safety as our top priority.

If you are currently scheduled on an upcoming tour in 2020, rest assured that we are continuing to navigate the re-opening of destinations, the obligations to our suppliers, and the safety of all of you, our Wildside family. As we gather information, we appreciate your continued patience during this period of uncertainty.

While many trips have been postponed, we have also been busy planning new ones. A number of these trips are close to the homes of our leaders in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Oregon, Georgia, California, New Mexico, Arizona and Texas. Of course, these adventures are contingent upon the opening and availability of safe lodging and restaurants, as well as guidelines of the parks and refuges we hope to explore.

This is also the perfect time to plan a private tour for your family or friends. Private tours can be tailored to your small group’s desires and interests… wildlife, birding, photography… or all three!

For inspiration, please visit our website and check out our current trips (noting that schedules may be changing) as well as our many informational and instructional webinars on birding, photography and natural destinations. Also visit our “Meet the Team” interviews, to get to know some of us a bit better.

Until we join each other in the field once again, from our family to yours, we wish you a safe and healthy summer.

Kevin and the Wildside Family
