The weather held for us all weekend and we did not get rained upon during the Waterfall Photography Workshop. We had many wonderful hours of photographing different falls found in the Delaware Water Gap area.

This morning after departing Indian Ladder Falls I spotted something crossing the road ahead of us. It moved slowly and in an odd manner. As we neared I realized it was a Woodcock doing its funky “two-step” dance across the road! I stopped the car to enjoy the show, however, since I was driving, my camera was stowed in the back.
The woodcock continued its two steps forward, one step back. Then it would bounced up and down and fan its tail. Jane had her camera handy, but not wanting to take a shot through the windshield handed me her Sony camera and I rolled down the window just as the bird made it to the other side. I fired off this one image and the Woodcock disappeared into the undergrowth.
What a fun end to a great weekend! Photos of the falls to come soon!
